Regarding the process of forming this collection, the designer spent several months before launching searching for quality "pineapple leaves" from farms. With about 480 pandan leaves, the worker can produce a 10m2 wide cloth . Pandan leaves will be divided into bundles vertically. They are then pressed through rollers to achieve the fiber separation stage. After being washed and dried in the sun, the fibers are transferred to the spinning process. Vu Viet Ha combines pineapple weaving with silk yarn and hand dyeing to create unique and natural fabrics.
